You Capture- Black & White

This weeks You Capture was Black & White

This photo is an old one, but I did have some fun converting several of them to Black & White.

Thanks for stopping by and happy shooting.

I know this isn't original, but...beautiful! I love the detail that pops out on a B&W.

Very pretty, Terri!

It looks like you used a little fade on the b&w? Like maybe the original is pink? I think it's got a cool effect! And these are my favorite flowers, so how could I not adore it!!!

PS. I wanna hear more about your photo class!! What sort of assignments do you have? What type of material are the tests based on? Like the technical or the artistic or both? You said you're doing this through an online program, didn't you?
I'm loving my class, but I don't feel like I'm learning as much as I would like to. The first six weeks were more about how to use the camera and what the different modes and settings do. And I'm more comfortable with that now. And we have assignments - this week was about composition and next week will be light & form - but I don't feel like she's actually teaching me. Anyway. Point of my novel of a comment, is that I want to hear more about it - when you have time, of course. :-)

Oh my good heavens. This is such a fantastic picture. I just love it. And it is perfect in black and white. Does it have a pink tint? I think that is sensational. This is perfect!
